The Acme Treadway Company is a volunteer group within the Potomac Appalachian Trail Club whose specialty is the construction and rehabilitation of public hiking trails. This crew, formed in 2001, can work on any trail or trail section maintained by the PATC; however, it usually works in western Maryland, Virginia, and West Virginia. The original Web site was a static XHTML brochure-style Web site. In 2008, the Webmaster converted all content into a managed content site.
