Documentation Portfolio

Anyone can pile words atop words extolling his or her excellence, mission, commitment, and so forth. Professionals show what they have done because performance speaks to value.

This portfolio shows you technical documents I’ve prepared for my clients and gives you an inkling of what I can, and will, do for you and your organization.

The files I offer here are not the complete collection of all documents I’ve authored for clients. I cannot include many because I don’t have copies—this includes those that are (or were) classified as well as those that contain corporate proprietary data. These documents do, however, show my skills with words and the tools of my trade and are, in that respect, comprehensive.

I proposed in this White Paper the design, development, and use of an open-source MySQL-based CMS platform by the Potomac Appalachian Trail Club to support all club activities and projects, particularly those conducted by our member-volunteers.

The Potomac Appalachian Trail Club is a charter member of the Appalachian Trail Conservancy, formerly known as the Appalachian Trail Conference. The Conservancy includes 32 volunteer trail-maintaining clubs whose members manage the entire 2100 miles of the fabled Appalachian Trail, from Georgia to Maine.
